Our story began in 1981 when founder, Brett Marquis, started Marquis Floors upon graduating from Emory University. Brett, at the age of 21 began his flooring career in a local, Atlanta flea market. Within 2 years their reputation began to spread and in 1983 we were able to find our home in Lilburn, GA off of Highway 78. We built our first store and we have remained in the same location ever since.

Today, Brett and his wife Pam remain at the center of the business. Both Pam & Brett believe that being a family owned and operated business is responsible for much of our success over the years. Marquis Floors has grown a lot since 1981 – we have overcome a recession, become a vital part of our local community, but what has really been the lifeblood of our company is helping more than 100,000 customers over the years and seeing the smiles on their faces once their job is complete. From our family to yours, we hope that we have the opportunity to “floor” you.
